Encyclopedic 2 continues the themes established in the Encyclopedic gear set. The main one is that each gear has a identical sets of pen holes aligned with the gear tooth for one set and with the gaps in the gear teeth for the other set of pen holes. This feature is useful for maintaining symmetry in designs that roll around inside rings, and around the outside of stationary gears as part of the same composition.
This gear set also continues the inclusion of tiny pen holes (1 mm), in addition to the usual small pen holes (3mm), and some medium pen holes (6 mm).
This gear set includes every gear from 31 teeth to 90 teeth.
